Invalid mods included spam, malicious downloads, redundant ME2 coalesced mods, mods never released, mods with download links removed, and unsolicited modder’s resources like amateur voice acting samples.Valid mods included any released project that had an accompanying file (or download link to a separate host) and was not one of the many redundant coalesced mods for ME2.Mods were placed into two categories: valid or invalid. Over the course of 18 months, six BioWare Continuity Network staff worked to assess all 4200 mods hosted on BSN.
